hi

it's actually sad....
so many business owners, both online and offline, just don't get it...

rule no1:

the most valuable asset of any business is its customers.

rule no 2:

you make money by giving people what they want (so how will u know if you don't connect with them ?)

and yet we have brilliant role models like you we can learn from - you have proven your methods over and over again...

yet they simply carry on - and complain about business being bad.....:)

i'm looking and learning, though....

thanx

I totally agree that we have to listen to our customers and more important is to listen to our employees. Sometimes it's takes time, but it is worth it.

Contrary to most of the complainers, I see your point. It's hard to make a product for true newbies, and just as hard for the really advanced. Trying to be all things for all people is no longer possible. To me, it's time to know your niche, whether newbie, or expert. It's all right to have an intro product, if you're after the advanced market. Everyone starts at the bottom, and needs a map.
The "experts" need a map, like it or not, because they can lose sight of the basics. They just need a more detailed map than newbies do. Detailed in terms of how to go from one small area, to the larger ones they can reach. A newbie needs a local map, and the expert needs the large scale (State as opposed to City).
The complainers may not even need the kind of products you offer.

John you mentioned in the comments above that the $97 release could be two weeks away which has now passed. When do you think you'll have this ready for purchase?

Will you offer live coaching calls as an upsell perhaps? I'd be very interested in that if you did.

John, you are one of only 5 Internet Marketers I unreservedly recommend to my coaching students, and once again you've demonstrated why you're in that group. Thank you for listening to your customers' needs and making it possible for many more people to learn from you. I'll be first in line with my $97!

Thanks,

Hey John,

I am a long time customer of yours. And, I'll be honest -- I feel like some of the other commenter(s) on this post.

It seems, from reading some of the other comments, your long time customers have hit a state of "Perpetual Irritation". And it is only out of pure love, brother.

The last few products you have launched, paired with several of your choices for affiliate products to promote, have stepped outside your standard of excellence.

Most of us marketers are grown up now...

We have grown into a group of inhabited, well-informed marketing experts.

And through that growth we have devleoped a long list of high expectations which apply to each and every good, service and product we endeavour upon.

Money Mindset may be a great product, but even to Gillian's comment, we are a little confused on if your fanatic customers are still of any importance.

Maybe it's time to think about who your REAL customers are? I have been on your list since the $97 newsletter days.

I have purchased several products from you. Did I get a special offer? No. Did I get some sort of private invite? No.

What I did get was four emails to the same email address because I am on your list for different products.

Maybe it's time to step outside yourself and re-evaulate who your real customers are?

Maybe bail on the "guru" click in the internet marketing niche all together?

-- That click of gurus has lost a lot of trust -
I almost feel like most of them are chasing the market now --

Those of us who are Reese ambasadors aren't upset with you personally, we are more upset that you / no one is fullfilling our need anymore.

Nearly every new product that has been launched by a "guru" can't meet the demands of the advanced marketer anymore. And even the products that meet the demands of the "newbie" find more value in the crowd than the product itself (Stompernet).

Someone needs to step in and be different again. We are dieing for someone to follow, but we don't know who to follow anymore.

Look man - you got us here. That is something to be proud of.

And, I will continue to read your emails and follow you closely.

But here is my signing off comment...taking action is one thing... but in 2010 those of us who are well-informed consumers will continue to find ourselves in a perpetual state irritation if you don't EXCEEED certain standards again.

If Money Mindset is going to be a $97... rock on with it. But, it finds a way to be remarkable.... like the Reese I know.

Its all in the numbers and in the heart. Did you ever make a decision that changed the way people approached you and perhaps even the people themselves changed. When your driving down the road and you turn the corner at a sign do you double guess thats where your gonna go,probably not. With this decision made whether having to do with return on investment or not,the fact that John believes these works will be a positive thing is pretty much his decision to fulfill. And for that John, you have my support.

What makes this course valuable is John is living the life we all want.
He used to be 100k in debt, and some how still succeeded.

Changing your mindset is a process and John has been through it.
So we can learn what he did to overcome, being paralyzed at the computer,
or buying a product and not doing anything, or doing a little and then stopping, etc.

I know this is true because I'm going through it, I've stopped buying so many courses,
and am sticking with seo and building backlinks because that is what I know.

Now I am coming up with a simple repeatable system to get backlinks,
instead of doing all the different ways to get backlinks. Plus I put my plan on a white board so I see it everyday, along with my goals and what I need to do to get there. Plus everyday I keep telling myself it is possible.

It is a never-ending process of making yourself better.

From masterytv, Tom Wood said, success is not so much about the money or the freedom, which is great, but about the person you become in order to achieve what you did.

Imagine being the type of person that can have everything taken away from him/her financially, but you have the skills, mindset, and confidence to get it all back and more. Now that is Freedom, from fear and worry about anything.

You never have to worry about money again, because you know how to create wealth on the internet at anytime, in any economic condition. wow

ok, I'm looking at my whiteboard I know what I must do, I better get to it.
