Tony Robbins is only an authority because he SAYS he’s an authority.
If enough people say you are something, then it “becomes” true.
All things considered, it’ll probably be a good class. But it’s not for me.
The damn thing will fill up anyway, and many people will get their money’s worth.

P.S. John I know you make more than enough money in “outside” niches, but I think you’re really waaay too much of a perfectionist in the IM community. You talked about that in your new video. You take so long to release your stuff, and yet you really could serve this market because I know you’re passionate about it

Dear applesauce (hehe),
Your point is well taken. Tony’s course is excellent.
However, I don’t think it’s a fair comparison. These are two completely different things. This class is about a specific strategic method for building a business. It’s not only about “inner game.”

Seriously. That last couple of years were rough for me on a personal basis. Several deaths in my life, etc. It robbed my focus and was stealing my ‘passion’ a bit. But I’m finally turning the corner and ready to do a lot of great stuff again. Thanks for the reminder.

John, congrats man, again you you did it, you manage to understand what ppl need and deliver it, so nicely and easy to understand!
The way you develop and launch each one of your products always inspire me to learn and adapt it to my market.
Just when I think recurring is your thing and is what coverts better you surprise me agian with big ticket items =)
I´m going to pass on this one because the money mindset is something that I do have (fortunately) but I truly believe this is a great product!

Your presentation as great and PERFECT as always, I always enjoy to listen to you! Very convincing stuff altogether, as usual … The perfect “money mindset” though does not change the fact, that there are and always will be losers and winners on this planet. Winners only with the correct mindset? No way! No winners without losers and the losers pay the winners, that makes them winners. Millionaires only in this world, presupposed they have the right mindset? Where should all the money come from, out of nowhere, falling from the sky, like Ferraris? No, YOUR milliones come from hard working 9-5 idiots, you sell HOPE to, hypnotised blind followers. If they all would and COULD really do, what you say, you would have no house to live in, no computer to work with making millions, no food on your table, no nothing. Millionaires only eating their $$$. You should be glad to be wrong with your “Money-Mindset-Everybody-Can-Do-That” thingie! Dangerous stuff, will make you lots of moola, but I appreciate it anyway, I admire you as one of the most TALENTED marketers of all times!

John, awesome presentation as always. You shared some of the stuff in course in the past like the Reboot Your Brain method, the A.T.A.M. method etc. I have a few questions if you don’t mind. How much of the stuff is new in the course and how much is receycled material? Do you offer a payment plan? Are there any additional pdfs or only the webinars? Will there be a members forum / page to exchange with other webinar users and would you add new stuff to it in the future?

This course is exactly what I need but unfortunately I am the person you describe and $497 is WAY beyond what I can afford.
The price tag needs to come down by at least half. At this level, it’s out of reach for the people who need it most!

Dan Goldsmit - thanks for the kind words. As for Google Reader I’m not sure what’s going on. Feedburner hasn’t been working very well which is what this blog uses to manage its RSS feed. Every since Google bought that company it’s been having problems!
Dan Krueger - you need to read the book “Think & Grow Rich.”
Your outlook is from a SCARCITY MINDSET. You’re basically saying the only way to make money is to TAKE MONEY from someone else. This isn’t the case at all. In fact, it’s the OPPOSITE. With many of my customers I work hard to deliver great training that will make them money so they will keep coming back and buying more training. It becomes a no brainer investment when the ROI they receive from investing in one of my courses or seminars makes them far more than what they paid. It would be VERY hard for a company to sell business training and to stay in business if their products didn’t actually help people. Certainly you’re right in that SOME people may not ever do anything but buy that hope (which is why I mention it in the video; and I want to change that!) but the foundation of most successful businesses (in any market) is one of ABUNDANCE (again read Think & Grow Rich) where they get rich by enriching the lives of others.
Megan - the majority of the course is all NEW stuff that I’ve never taught before. Especially the overall systematic approach that makes up the overall curriculum. There won’t be a forum but there will be PDF handouts for every week’s class along with assignments you’ll complete. There’s no payment plan at this time but enough people request it we may set one up. Thanks for your interest in the class!

John, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I really like your stuff and the way you teach. I have nearly all your Reese Report newsletters and found them fantastic. Sadly you have stopped publishing them, but I understand with all the personal problems you had, it was surely the right move from your standpoint. I’m very happy to see you again starting your engines and begin teaching. Hopefully you will start again with your free newsletters, because they helped me so much to overcome a lot of hurdles and problems I had in my business. I hope you’ll set up a payment plan, because I don’t want to miss out this great chance to learn from you!!!

I would pay $39.97 for something like this, and I thought
about it while watching the video. “What would I pay for
this?”
I thought about $97. Then I said “nahh, these videos are
going to take up more of my time. I’d rather be productive.”
I love “mindset” stuff too, and all things strategy. But
the chances are there’s not going to be much I don’t
already know and use.
Maybe just a different take on it, which I’m sure would
be valuable… just not $497 valuable to me.
I like keeping my money. And I’m getting bored with
most info-products/marketing.

Hi John,
I’ve been following you for some time now, and I have to agree with what others are saying. It seems to be a great product but a lot of us “little” guys cannot afford the $497. I’m sure its worth every penny, but I hope one day you’ll create something that can help the masses without putting a whole in their pocket.
The opportunity.com you created is very affordable but I believe its only cheap as its a recurring payment and those are usually cheaper then a one time purchase since you make money over several months.

I am a bit shocked at the comments.
When I say the $497 price tag, I actually thought it would be a great deal, I might even get my own spot (depending on my schedule next week).
Nevertheless, many people are saying that this price tag is too high, and even suggest a price you should charge.
When people see a HD TV for $497 it would be a GREAT deal, and probably have no problem using there credit card for that, or a shopping spree on more clothing they don’t necessarily need.
Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself!

I love this comment from Megan Donovan : I have nearly all your Reese Report newsletters and found them fantastic.
So my question is, what did you do with all those reports because that collection is a masterpiece of pure internet gold. I don’t think John created them just for applause. The whole idea was to help (TRR) subscribers become financially independent for the rest of their lives.
You see, that is why John has come up with this course. To help those people who buy info products but don’t do Jacks (nothing) with them. Stuff by the way that they spent a small fortune and many years collecting.
Heck, just yesterday I saw an eBayer selling one of John’s programs and he seemed to take pride in the fact that he didn’t even watch a single disc. This is lunacy beyond belief.
I am not a sophisticated marketer but I do feel that maybe the name Money Mindset has made some people misunderstand the value of what John is offering. Some might feel they can get all the mindset stuff from a $10 book, but this course is much more than mindset (like John clearly stated). For me I see this as an Advanced Strategic Thinking and Strategic Action training course from one of the best internet marketers around. Put simply, Strategic Action is the key to the million dollar vault.
Do you really think he is doing this purely for the money? The guy is a millionaire many times over. Go back and listen to the video presentation again. Hopefully you will realize that the $500 John is asking is chicken fee compared to the value you are getting.
This has nothing to do with the $500 price tag. The real issue is that some people are afraid they would not do anything (yet again) with the info they learn.

Ok, guess that means I”d love a payment plan or a deposit and full payment on the 15th

Um, all the war planning strategies from one of the legends of internet marketing and
you’re concerned about the price? I find that surprising. The value is incredible and
will happily rearrange a ton of things to get this done. Heck, then I can use all the piles
of products that are waiting to be used downstairs and take some people out of those
offices that they hate so much…
Does a phone call help in this instance? Guess we’ll see when I’m outta the building.

Hi! I know your class is closed… but… I think if you offered mindset coaching, business coaching, and a mastermind group in one it would be even BETTER!
So many business coaches online say to the masses things like: The reason people fail in business is because they don’t take action. The reason people fail in business is because they think too negative. The reason people fail in business is because they are not team players. Sometimes it could be many factors and not JUST their mindset, like: Flawed business model, weak marketing strategy, etc. So it would be great if you offered mindset/biz coach/mastermind all in one to your students. Well, lol, it’s entirely your call if you ever wanted to do that. People learn in different ways. Some need to draw out problems. Some people need the hand holding. Some people need to hear it more than others. It’s one of the main reason why I decided to homeschool my daughter. I can show her the whole entire picture. People can succeed in life if they don’t settle for failing.

If you look at all these various popular internet courses, you can see a pattern.
Over time the price drops; in some cases right down to free. Yes free, as when the old material is offered as a come-on bonus for some newer material.
The problem is all your ex-students take the ideas and reproduce them. It is like trying to sell tomatoes in the middle of a glut.
And why pay for coaching? It is a very expensive way to purchase information. Why not read a book or join a forum. And especially use a bit of trial and error learning by taking action yourself.
You may also notice a pattern in snake oil advertisements. They describe the problem in all its gruesome detail. Then they go into raptures about how good life would be if you did not have the problem. At no stage do they demonstrate how their program is going to actually fix your problem.
So my advice is refuse to be conned. It took you a long time to earn that money, so why go and give it to a snake oil salesman whose course does nothing more than state the bleeding obvious.
Keep your dream alive.

Hey John,
I know that this doesnt have much to do with the comments above about money mindset but wanted to send this to you after reading some of the comments above. You are incredibly talented and your ability to think strategically is one of your greatest gifts…
I truly admire the effort you have made to not compromise the quality of your training material. I agree with you 100%… I would much rather pay you $2000 for something that will really give me and my business the tools to radically move us forward than waste 20 bucks on some crappy product that would just waste me and my teams time… and I know we can both think of many products out there which are not only embarrassing but also disappointing and unethical.
Most people have no idea how much time, money and energy goes in to developing something brilliant and world class… yes a crappy product can be put together in no time.. but then people who do this must expect the crappy reputation that goes with it! I have huge respect for you because you have stuck to your guns, brought out and continue to bring out amazing stuff… which makes your reputation grow from strength to strength.
Einstein said that genius is the ability to put into effect what is on your mind, and you have had enough resilience to make this a reality. I also respect you because for the past 2 years I have invested ruthlessly into a world class product and understand how much is required to make it world class. I have been running my business for 5 years now, and still 100% of my business income comes from me running live training workshops which is incredibly exhausting. It took me many months but I finally saved up enough to purchase Mass Control, as well as traffic secrets 2.0 and have started working through this with my team (which has been incredible).. in between an insane training schedule so really look forward to moving most of our work online. ;o)
Your standard of work is exceptionally high. Thank you for inspiring me to do the same.

In case you are wondering, most of these comments are coming from people who are paid to write these comments.
Take note of the way that most of them begin with a compliment. That is not a natural way to comment on a blog.
It is one gigantic setup. Don’t be conned out of your money.

With many many people before you John with “mind” credentials coming out of their ears this was always going to be a difficult transition. I would guess that you sat with Tony Robbins and put together your own PD product with his help but just as certain actors get known and loved for a certain “type” of role I feel this is also the case here.
You are known for internet marketing so to jump over to “mind” stuff is a stretch. I admire you for having a go as it does take courage especially when the response is not that hot. (i dont buy your reason for cancelling)
$497 in a recession was also a push.
I feel it would have been better to just let Tony robbins do the mind stuff and you keep marketing. You may still get some sales at $97 from your loyal list and the list of your IM pals but its not for me. There are better qualified teachers for this subject ie: people who have really really really studied human behaviour and the how the mind works for years and years. (as I have but I dont plan on creating a product on the subject)

@Brian — pennies per comment … ha ha, sir. I am no mechanical turk, although clearly services do exist. Perhaps next you’ll claim that I am from a third world country where pennies are worth their weight in local dubloons!
Nevertheless, Brian you should grab a beer and take it easy. While such services exist, fake comments are easy to spot, and but I don’t see any here. As you correctly point out they are usually written by people who are being paid pennies per post, and as a result, are *not* often marked by overbearing compliments, but rather poor diction, poor spelling, and poor grammar as they don’t understand English very well at all.
Give yourself a dollar for trying though!

I just wanted to say thank you for Money Mindset. It is awesome. I love the step-by-step process you have simply laid out. Anyone can follow this…
I have to tell you I am feeling much more focused in just only a few days. I am currently going through Module One and filling out all the work sheets. I will be revisiting this Module monthly.
I was running into what you call the information overload problem. I had been doing lots of research on making money opportunities on the net for a review site I am building. I had been through like 10 different courses in a month while overseeing another project. All of a sudden it seemed like my brained was overloaded and I was not getting things done and kind of was in a fog.
I received you email and purchased Money Mindset and now I am back on course. I feel everyone should purchase this program to keep them on course.
Once again John one of you products has helped my businesses and me.
