I don’t know whether to laugh or cry that people are now making videos about me (and BlogRush) like they do for Britney Spears. Actually, I think these videos are hilarious. They are so silly they are actually really funny — especially if you have seen the original Chris Crocker video here that all these are spoofs of. That original Britney Spears video was viewed over 10 MILLION times (there are many versions of it) in less than a week. Truly insane viral marketing. A couple of Internet marketers decided to make their own versions of this Britney Spears video… they’re pretty funny. Even, though, some people might think they’re ’stupid’ it’s interesting to note, from a marketing perspective, that these guys are getting a lot of free traffic just from others passing them around. (Something to think about.) I am definitely a HUGE fan of VIDEO MARKETING. It’s obvious that it’s the future of the Internet. In the near future if your business isn’t using video of some kind you will be at a major disadvantage to your competitors. Here are those videos… one from David Ledoux and one from Dr. Mike… enjoy!

I agree 100%, video is the way it’s going. There are many ways to use video too,
not just on YouTube or MetaCafe like many people think. I’m using a new style of
video skin on my Affiliate Elite review page (another killer product from Brad Callen,
the guy behind SEO Elite and Keyword Elite).
Affiliate Elite isn’t out yet, but you can watch some videos I made from the advance
copy I got at http://www.affiliate-elite-review.com.
Anyway, ya, video is the way to go for opt-in forms, video guarantees, viral
YouTube-style stuff, screencam videos, etc. etc. You’re only limited by your imagination.

I don’t know about those two videos….
If I shall be honest….just redicilous and not in my taste at least. For the home, family, friends and social networking area those videos can certainly satisfy some people looking for the extreme and unusual.
However, within the terms of internet marketing and home business I doubt that you will find any bigger weight or value in regards to respons and longterm investments in the program actual using ’social networking shows’ like this.
Nor do I like that some people do whatever it takes to use popular keywords everywhere, anywhere and in every theme that doesn’t even fit just for the sake of traffic….
For using video as a tool in your marketing -> YES and I agree with Shawn above that you can use it in so many ways. For instructions, guiding, support and education and he gives you also one great example of many in how video can be used.
