Guess The Price Of Traffic Secrets 2.0 | |||
|
| ||
|
As many of you already know, the long-awaited new version of “Traffic Secrets” will be released this summer. The original course, which sold over $1,000,000 worth in the first 18 hours of release, was priced at $997. I’m curious to see what people think “Traffic Secrets 2.0″ will be priced at. And, no, this isn’t a survey for me to figure out what price to use; that has already been decided. I will say this… the new version has A LOT more traffic strategies and methods than Version 1.0 did — because it covers tons of “Web 2.0″ tactics and some other newly discovered methods. So post your guess below… maybe I’ll award some sort of prize to the people that guess it correctly. One guess per person please. Let’s not clutter up the comment section. * Special Note: Traffic Secrets 2.0 will be the very first training product published by Income.com. We have several in development. *** I have revealed some additional hints in the COMMENTS section. |

John
I guess $0.
Always do more than is expected of you!

June 24th, 2007 at 6:02 pm
I guess it would be about 497$. Twice more tactics for half a price of the first release.
June 24th, 2007 at 6:16 pm
Free?
June 24th, 2007 at 6:17 pm
I would not be surprised if the new Traffic Secrets package is sold as a private membership site. The price would be at least $29.00 per month but probably more.
June 24th, 2007 at 6:19 pm
Hehehe. Very funny “zero” guessers.
No, Jerry, it will have a one-time price.
June 24th, 2007 at 6:25 pm
Hi John -
Personally speaking, The Traffic Secrets course change my life and was a steel at $997. Being one of your long time customers and knowing how much value you give, this new version will still be a steel, no matter what the price.
I’m going to guess the price will be $1497.00.
Now for me to give you a more accurate idea of price, you might want send me a copy for review… LOL
You’re the man!

$25,000 … just like Carlos and Wife
June 24th, 2007 at 6:41 pm
$197
June 24th, 2007 at 6:48 pm
Hey Chris! LTNS. Thanks for the kind words!
June 24th, 2007 at 7:07 pm
$299.00 and falling lol.
June 24th, 2007 at 7:11 pm
I read an article the other day about letting clients/your list guess the price of your product. It helps with your pricing decision. Nice tactic John
Im guessing $297.
June 24th, 2007 at 7:12 pm
My guess is $697
June 24th, 2007 at 7:14 pm
I like Phil’s answer. Twice more tatics for half the price. If I remember correctly somewhere on this blog John talked about the kind of prices that will show up for the products on income.com. I think he said that it wouldn’t be anywhere near the $1,000 plus like some of the other stuff. So I’m going to put in a guess of $297.

My guess is $97.00
June 24th, 2007 at 7:36 pm
Good detective work, Jeff. I *did* state that Income.com didn’t have any plans (although it could change in the future) to price products in the $1,000 range. So that HINT reveals that TS 2.0 will not be close to $1,000 like the original version.
And for those guessing less than $100… maybe I should have mentioned that the course is 12 CD-Roms and several hundred pages of manuals and other content.
June 24th, 2007 at 7:45 pm
I am guessing $297 as well. I couldn’t afford the first one. Of course, it could be argued that I couldn’t afford NOT to have the first one…even with the 3-payments deal. But I never could find a way to pull the trigger…
Hard to say, John. You are clearly one of the Cadillac guys out there in terms of your approach (and I mean that in terms of class and professionalism…not the nice suits)…but I think realities have changed somewhat over the past 3 years or so in terms of ebook/software/package deals as opposed to personal training (for which you can apparently charge 5-10K and no one blinks).
So, I wouldn’t be surprised with $197…nor would I be surprised at $699, $999 or $1499. But I am sticking with my guess of $297. And I hope, at that price, there will still be a multiple-payment option. I frankly cannot afford to throw down $300 in a single chunk very often. I would certainly love to learn all the stuff that’s been gurgling around in your brain on the subject, though!
And hey…if you’re ever interested in putting together an audiobook that someone could listen to over and over again…some quantity of really powerful content that you’d like driven home with authority and articulation (maybe sort of a “meditations for internet marketing geniuses”, designed to pound home the truly important stuff over the long haul)…consider bringing in a voiceover professional like me to do the trick (you can check out my demos at http://ProfessionalVoiceTalent.com). I won’t even ask for the keys to the next car you’re given. LOL…
June 24th, 2007 at 7:56 pm
You’re gonna sell it for dirt cheap. Because that’s what you did last time. I guess this time you’ll sell it for $5k
June 24th, 2007 at 8:05 pm
$499
June 24th, 2007 at 8:05 pm
i think you should pay us to see it
June 24th, 2007 at 8:06 pm
My guess is $297 as well. And I’m sure it will be worth $2,997 - at least.

What will Traffic Secrets 2.0 cost??…
Traffic Secrets 2.0 is the upcoming version of the course from John Reese’s. There was a brief review of the new course given at Read more about Traffic Secrets 2.0income.com and a question, What will it cost??
I will say this… the new version…
June 24th, 2007 at 8:17 pm
I’ll guess $497 to $795 and I’ll volunteer to beta test, just for the 40,000 or so who’ve been to my blog so far this month.
Not for ME, for THEM.
Give, give, give … it’s all I do
June 24th, 2007 at 8:19 pm
Seems like many people are guessing figure ending with 7. Well, I think it’s a good ending price..
John, i will guess it’s $777. Maybe you’ll launch this product on 7 July 2007 –> 777 as well?
God bless.
If this is the price, I also not afford to buy it… LOL.. too expensive for me although has great content in it….
June 24th, 2007 at 8:22 pm
For the person who understands the value, there is no question of price, for rest of the folks is the price they are willing to pay for their success.

[…] Guess the price of Traffic Secrets 2.0! After having the blowout sales of Traffic Secrets version 1.0, he (John Reese) is about to launch another version of Traffic Secrets v.2.0. From what John Resse had said, the v.2.0 will be released on this summer. […]
June 24th, 2007 at 9:36 pm
I’m going to make a guess at around $600, give or take a few bucks ($597 or $599 or perhaps $620: $997 [original TS] - $377 [blowout sale price] = $620). This will be around 40% lower than the original Traffic Secrets price, which I would consider a “dramatic” drop.
And the current Traffic Secrets owners will get a “huge discount;” with our price being about $350 or so (I did some “detective work” of my own to get that second figure).
–Matt
June 24th, 2007 at 9:58 pm
Hey John,
The price will be $147US…. I hope lower.
John your the man! I love reading your blog posts.

Carlo
June 24th, 2007 at 10:17 pm
Well seeing as how the price is to be determined roughly based around the value of the product while keeping affordability in mind, I would have to say that its going to come to
$497
unless ofcourse you decide to add in a .01 just for laughs
June 24th, 2007 at 10:36 pm
Some interesting answers….like the guy who went from $497 to $795 - now theres covering the spread! LOL
$597 based on follow up products you mentioned…..Any chance Stephen Piearce would have a look over the pre release version? -just a thought as I know you guys are good friends.

What is it with these darn (stupid) “97″ prices? Who came up with that and why is everyone so stupid to buy “97″ dollar product? As soon as a product is market as $97 or $197 or whatever97 it is easily to spot as a crappy ripoff eBook. Sell it for $995 or $999.00 and separate yourself from all the cheap ripoffs.
June 24th, 2007 at 10:57 pm
my guess - $1297
June 24th, 2007 at 11:33 pm
I’m guessing $99.
June 24th, 2007 at 11:45 pm
Hi John I say the price will be $149 because of the landscape fetching a $1,000 price tag for a web 2.0 product is very hard these days. Especially considering a lot of the information has already been convered in almost every way on peoples blogs. I think a $149 price tag says I am affordable and you can make money off of me with a affiliate program.
June 24th, 2007 at 11:51 pm
397
June 24th, 2007 at 11:57 pm
John, you were the first to charge $997 for an internet marketing course and sell more than $1,000,000. Other courses were selling for $497 and below then. Of course, after everyone saw that you CAN actually charge $997 and still sell loads, everyone started charging more.
Increasing the price now is nothing new. So, I think you’ll definitely offer a HUGE course at an unbelievable price (therefore setting another trend, I hope ;-)). So, my guess is $397.
Saying that though, I know however much you charge for it, it will DEFINITELY be well worth it. Traffic Secrets 1.0 was responsible for literally doubling my traffic when I first purchased it.
Keep up the great work…
June 25th, 2007 at 12:11 am
Hey John,
Based on your previous posts, and the content in The Rebirth Of Internet Marketing (awesome read if anyone has read it yet :)….
I am guessing that you will actually have two parts to the course. The first part of the course will be free… well… (name and email) free. We will probably be able to download a portion of the new Traffic Secrets 2.0 by joining Income.com. I am guessing that you might actually be launching the two simultaneously to create a huge buzz on the internet. And… although free… I think it will be filled with a lot of valuable information just like all your other free content.
Now the second part, I know will not be free. I am guessing the price tag to be between $297 - $397. Also, if Income.com and TS 2.0 are launched simultaneously, I think there will be some sort of discount for “fast movers.” Either a free VIP membership for 6 months to Income.com with purchase of TS 2.0, or $100 off the purchase of TS 2.0 with an upgraded account to Income.com.
Anyways… I don’t care what the price will be… I am buying it! I missed out on the first Traffic Secrets, and I sure as He** am not going to miss out on this one. I look forward to it. Chat with you soon,
Ryan

My guess is $397. Has the release date been announced?
June 25th, 2007 at 12:32 am
$597
The price for original TS owners will be around $350.
–Matt
June 25th, 2007 at 1:17 am
Im gonna guess… $1,997
I dont think John would price it too low or else people wont appreciate the product. You pay 2 grand for something and your damn well gonna read it. Besides sometimes higher price points increase conversions (higher percieved value).
And higher price points can lower refunds.
One more thing, anyone else notice how brillant the income.com strategy is? Provide real, valuable content - which in turn is not only going to generate immense amounts of free traffic… but also… cause the law of reprocity to take effect and make people hungry for the paid products.
Anyways Im looking forward to both the free and paid information because John Reese always overdelivers.
June 25th, 2007 at 1:21 am
It doesn’t matter john…I’ll find a way to come up w/the $cause your worth it and the benifit to me would be 7 fold.
June 25th, 2007 at 1:34 am
My wish is 200 (fits nice with the 2.0 and I’d surely grab one of those immediately) - but my guess is something like 429 (which just from what I know from you would still be GREAT VALUE for mini-money).
June 25th, 2007 at 1:37 am

the price will be $97.00

Hi John,
My guess is $397, the same as the firesale for Traffic Secrets 1.0
Anyhows, any product produced by you is always top-notch and well worth whatever price you set it at.

$ 99 I guess
June 25th, 2007 at 3:18 am
What about $1997 with 3 installments?:-)
June 25th, 2007 at 3:21 am
$0.99
June 25th, 2007 at 3:28 am
Of course, “Traffic Secrets 2.0″will have the exact same price as the 1.0 version:
$997
Guys, you can stop guessing now. And John, tell me I’m right
June 25th, 2007 at 3:48 am
Hello John,
Well, hmmm….My guess? Yes! Almost got it, I think. Traffic secrets sold for almost a $997/-
A blow out sale in the end! and in the making a new product? Not to mention the amount of money you made with all your hard work and research and mind blowing strategies, proven of course.
Would have given you enough and more time I hope to have come out with a one-of-a-kind-only product! There again creative people always are so humble and say, It’s not it yet! I have to better it.
Now! http://www.Income.com? What next I wonder. Oh yes! Almost forgot, the topic of how much.
Let me see…tap tap tap!
If it can help people make millions, I think it would be $2,997.
It’s been a pleasure again John on your blog.
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Sajjid Manuel
June 25th, 2007 at 3:56 am
I assume it’s gonna be one-time $495.

Hi John,
Loved your traffic secrets 1.0..
Anyway, I think the price will be $377 - $477, the same price you sold with the remaining Traffic Secrets 1.0 in your inventory.
Of course, previous Traffic Secrets 1.0 purchaser will have an advantage to get the price much lower. So, I think for them it will be a $100 discount and the price will be $277 - $377.
Though from the course we can get much-much more than the amount we paid.
Best Regards,
Andry
June 25th, 2007 at 4:45 am
My guess is $297
June 25th, 2007 at 5:03 am
my guess is a one time $697 I don’t know why but I can feel this is the price
June 25th, 2007 at 5:13 am
Hi John,
My first guess was also $777, and that the product’s coming out the 07/07/07, which is a Saturday by the way. Perhaps not the best day for business
I also thought of $333, but I guess that would be lowering the price too much, although the tendency seems to go towards lower prices generally for info products. Hm, I’m also temptet by $497 og $495.
Well, I’ll stick to my first guess and make that my final: $777.
Best wishes,
Britt Malka
June 25th, 2007 at 5:49 am
Great guesses, everyone! Thanks for playing along.
Christoph Puetz - pricing ending in “7″ have been proven to sell more based on thousands of direct marketing tests. Yes, it gets old to see so many prices that are similar, but people use those prices because it WORKS.
*NEW HINT*
TS2.0 will be UNDER $400. That’s all I am saying for now.
The course will have more tactics than the first one but Income.com’s overall ‘vision’ is to makes its products more affordable so more people will be able to buy them. When it comes down to raw ‘profit’ we’d make a lot more money launching it at $1,000 — and I have no doubt that would produce a few million on the launch day. BUT… we have a more long-term strategy for Income.com and it’s not just about “maximum money at every move.” Let’s just say I practice what I preach and it’s more about “SACRIFICING EARLY PROFITS” to grow the company and to be able to help more people — which in turn, creates more happy, paying customers that helps the company succeed at a much higher level. A WIN/WIN for everyone. (Which is what you always want to shoot for in your marketing.)
June 25th, 2007 at 5:50 am
My guess: $487 …?
June 25th, 2007 at 6:15 am
How many people just aren’t reading what you’ve written?
It’s a hard one to call. Less than 400, means the obvious price points are going to be 197, 297 and 397. However, I’m guessing that you’re going for something other than any of those.
So I’ll go for $247
June 25th, 2007 at 7:10 am
Interesting scrolling through all the comments to see the guesses and reasonings behind them. Everything from wishful thinking & hopeful freebies to more seasoned rationale.
Seeing as I’m still reasonable new to all of this marketing mullarky, I can only give an educated guess based on the hints on numbers John’s already given.
Ending in 7 works best. Under $400.
Surely $397 is too obvious then.
An educated guess would suggest John saying under $300 or under $350 if the price point was going to be $297 or $347.
So I wonder if it would be somewhere between the $347 & $397 mark…
Maybe $377? But that looks like too many 7’s now…
However, knowing John’s ‘motto/mantra’ of always doing more than is expected, does make me lean more towards a slightly lower figure, perhaps $347 after all.
So after all that, where does it leave me? With the distinct impression that I have the tendency to over analyze to the extreme!
$347 then, final figure…
Thanks for the insights into your thinking John, even that helps us lesser experienced marketers.
Much appreciated!
June 25th, 2007 at 7:23 am
$397
June 25th, 2007 at 7:24 am
Oh yeah….and the main take away from this post: build buzz pre-launch just like the iphone
June 25th, 2007 at 7:47 am
I think you all give John Reese too much respect. Has anyone that bought Traffic Secretss become a millionaire yet? So much free information out there that there’s no need to buy Traffic Secrets also can double traffic, master ppc, increase Adsense and affiliate income etc. There is no such thing as secrets. Plain and simple.
Secrets are meant to be kept not distributed to the masses. John is secretly laughing to all the fools that bought TS and intending to buy TS 2.0…
June 25th, 2007 at 8:09 am
Uh, Adam…
Have you ever paid good money to eat at a restaurant? You could eat a lot cheaper by staying home and preparing your own meals, but it’s much easier to just go to a restaurant to get a meal that’s prepared for you, isn’t it?
The time that it would take for you to find all of the information that’s going to be contained within TS2 could be better spent by buying the course and implementing the strategies that are taught.
You could have the course in your hands, implemented a few techniques, and made enough money to pay for the course (and then some) by the time you spent hours doing all that research that you are recommending that people do.
The most successful marketers GLADLY pay top dollar for solid business info because they realize that their time is more valuable than to spend hours researching something they can have instantly (almost instantly) by simply paying a premium.
The fools are the ones who say “I can’t afford X to buy the course”, “why buy the course when I can find it free online (albeit after HOURS of painstaking research)?”, and so on.
June 25th, 2007 at 8:14 am
Well stated, Andy.
And, for the record, a TS1 owner followed the course and built and sold a company from scratch for over $20 MILLION.
June 25th, 2007 at 9:06 am
Well.. I was going to say $297 but alot of other people already have and Its good to be different so ill say $197. or perhaps $397 the 97 part seems to be quite popular.
The most important thing I consider when looking at things like these is are they up to date.. if the tactics are no longer applicable then the information is not really useful.. That seems to be the hard part about SEO things - google is constantly changing its system so some things continue to work but others really fail.
I personally like courses that are under the $100 mark myself.. things above that require serious consideration.
Paul
June 25th, 2007 at 9:13 am
Hi John,
Some people are just plain fools.
I hope it would be $97, but that’s wishful thinking. My best guess would be $397. Within reach of most people.
June 25th, 2007 at 9:18 am
I think it would be 197
June 25th, 2007 at 9:21 am
Hi, John my answer to your question is whatever price you put on TS2 as long as it’s
below $1000 (£500), I will buy! Yes John you read that right - I can’t wait to buy because
I have already made over £10,000 (20,000) in just a few short months from the free
stuff you’ve sent to my email - I wonder what my ROI will be for TS2!
Looking forward to it.
Thanks again
Trevor
June 25th, 2007 at 9:49 am
I guess $397.00
Cheers,
June 25th, 2007 at 10:04 am
I’m plumping for $197
Your main ‘competition’ to have the number 1 ‘mass market’ internet marketing course is marketingtips.com’s course.
That sells for $197.
My guess is that they have extensively tested price points for that. And you are aiming at a similar demographic. So there, or there abouts. Because this won’t be a ’sell in 24 hour’ deal. But the flagship product to guide the income.com brand.
My guess is that you will also be coming out with software.
It is the software where you will make the real money. As that has residual income potential.
So you will probably decide to have this at a low price point to get as many people through the door as possible.

Yippee! Will there be an affiliate program John?
“*NEW HINT*
TS2.0 will be UNDER $400. That’s all I am saying for now.”
June 25th, 2007 at 10:15 am
The price will be 15 bucks…for 15 bucks you’ll ship it anywhere in the world and they can test it risk free for 29 days…if they don’t see at least 200 visitors a day to a brand new website they can send it back. Otherwise you’ll bill them in 3 easy payments on Day 30 for $97.00.
David Ledoux - I’m wrestling in July at NAGA http://www.didyousmellthat.com
June 25th, 2007 at 11:02 am
My guess would be $497. Hope you don’t have to be the first to post this price point. Definitely the tone you are setting for the new direction in your life, providing value while still making a profit, no more affiliate links, and the dedication to providing all entrepreneurs at any income level a price point that can work even on the lower level of the cash scale.
June 25th, 2007 at 11:14 am
John,
$97 would be a no-brainer for the masses if that’s who you are going after. If you want to be selective and target serious marketers AND subscribers, $197 and up. But my guess is $197 - ROI of 10X TS 1.0!!!
Nick
June 25th, 2007 at 11:16 am
1/5 the price of TS 1.0 and twice the amount of strategies in TS 2.0 = 10X initial ROI - guaranteed!
June 25th, 2007 at 11:18 am
I say $297.00 That’s well beneath the first edition’s price.
June 25th, 2007 at 12:22 pm
It has be $197 and NOT $197.00, because the extra 00 make it seems like a bigger number and gives the impression of higher cost.
June 25th, 2007 at 12:59 pm
I’d say right around $299.
Looking forward to it, John!
Thanks for everything you do.
Will
June 25th, 2007 at 1:07 pm
I’m going to have to go with $297. That to me seems like an appropriate, yet super cheap price for a product with 12 CD-Roms and several hundred pages of manuals and other content as John mentioned above. (Not to mention all the work that went into developing the content for the course.)
$197 might open it up to more people, but the $297 price point might attract more people who will actually FOLLOW what is defined in the course rather than letting it sit on a book shelf somewhere. After all, as a TS 1.0 owner, I know how John likes success stories.
June 25th, 2007 at 1:18 pm
Hi John,
Wow - My first thought was that it would be more expensive for those who have not purchased TS 1 (like me :().
I believe you will offer this gigantic course (you mentioned 12 CDs and 1000 pages of text?) for $397 but will give a hefty discount to those who purchased TS1 this year (if I remember your copy you mentioned something along those lines). Perhaps with the discount for the new TS1 purchasers, they will only have to pay $197.
$397 is awfully low - but my guess, all the same.
June 25th, 2007 at 1:26 pm
Why did this post not come through my feed?
Brad Fallon was talking about your ‘Free range’ extending therefore generating more revenue later on.
The fact that John is following web 2.0 closely and obviously is aware of the trend of ‘Free Now’ and monetise lately that multi-million companies the like of mashable and techcrunch cover, it makes sense that he will be attract the numbers even if it means lower profits in the initial outset.
$397 is my best bet. However I have to pay more for the international delivery to the UK.
June 25th, 2007 at 1:27 pm
My guess is $247.
For many of the same reasons as above, but also because I have been lauching products at a _47 price lately.
I am incredibly excited that it will be under $400, because I will not blink about buying it and will be able to easily recommend it to my list. (at $997 still would have bought it, but I would have thought about it more, and needed to put it on a credit card).
Thanks!

Hi All
I’m thinking 399.97
I guess because usually when someone says “it’s going to be under $400.00″ that means about a 3 pennies under.
I hope it comes out soon, I really need to make some money online before I have to give up and go to work for someone else. I have tried and tried for months and months. It doesn’t seem like I’m getting anywhere. I read and read and then put into practice what I read, but I’m getting nowhere. Adsense doesn’t work for me, affiliate marketing I can’t get anyone to buy anything, Products are not selling. I don’t know what is wrong. I will continue to learn and try to earn. I know it is being done.
June 25th, 2007 at 2:03 pm
I’m going with $97 - at least that’s what I hope it will be!
June 25th, 2007 at 2:11 pm
I think the price will be $147 plus $19.97 per month/yr.
June 25th, 2007 at 2:38 pm
Hand me the envelope, please… yes… drum roll… I see a one… no, two ones… and a nine and… wait… it’s… it’s… it’s a SEVEN… $1197! YES!
June 25th, 2007 at 2:41 pm
$347 sounds about right. I bought the original at the blowout price and found it to have value despite being a bit dated in places.
June 25th, 2007 at 2:43 pm
John,
My guess is $397. I also agree with the folks that said you will give a chunk
of content for free to help others get a thirst for the product.
You could NEVER charge enough to reflect the value, because the power of the
information that you provide literally has obviously made you millions!
The Reese Report is worth 10x what you charge per month and I expect that this
new product will be the same.
Can you just ‘whack’ my card that is on file right now…I don’t care what you charge…
I am getting your product! I missed out on Traffic Secrets and now that I get your
other stuff…anybody that is serious about making money online…AND apply the
marketing knowledge offline too….if you are serious then they MUST get your product(s)
AND should get the Reese Report too!

Hi John,
Everyone has made a guess. So I will make one too.
I have always gone against the grain. Here is my guess.
The price will be 10 times cheaper the money that it can make me!

June 25th, 2007 at 5:49 pm
John,
My guess is $0, because I purchased Traffic Secrets in January!
Nice, and I can’t wait. Thank you John, especially for your upselling strategies, easily worth the $1000 I paid at the beginning of the year.
“If you purchased a copy of Traffic Secrets at anytime in 2007 (directly from me and not on eBay) you are going to receive Traffic Secrets 2.0 at NO COST. Nada. You will get it as an additional bonus.”
Donovan
June 25th, 2007 at 5:50 pm
I guess $997+2.0 = $999 as the final price for “Traffic Secrets 2.0″
June 25th, 2007 at 6:17 pm
I will guess for $167.
By the way, sometimes people don’t buy course it’s because they really can’t afford it. I know there is small problem for those who reside in US or same value currency with USD.
For me, my currency is 3.5 lower than USD. So, it’s not easy to save the money and buy the course. Hope that you guys here will understand in this area as well.
When we help people who really need something, we think from their perspective.
Think wise.
God bless.
June 25th, 2007 at 6:43 pm
John,
I will say $450.00
Thanks keep up the great work

June 25th, 2007 at 7:18 pm
I guess $297.
Though,
a)How could there be more tactics than were contained in TS1. That was almost too much.
b)I’m sure it will be excellent.
c)A quick look around some of your favorite sites will reveal more traffic tactics than you can handle in 10 lifetimes as it is. Though, might take you a while to find ‘em.
Thanks John.
June 25th, 2007 at 7:32 pm
I just love how some people leave comments without reading what other people have said before them. If given a hint “below $400″, why would somebody guess a price of above $400…? Are those the people who are going to buy the TS2 hoping to reveal the magic trick that requires no work at all from their part, just read the books, watch the videos, sit back, relax and become a millionare ? The answer is obvious for me.
As for my guess, I would say that $197 sounds too trivial (I wouldn’t expect someting like that from John Reese) and too cheap so it must be above that price. Same goes for $297 so I would say something like $397 or $399.
June 25th, 2007 at 7:44 pm
I’d say $347.00 for the “general pop.” and free for anyone named Nell. hehe
June 25th, 2007 at 8:45 pm
John,
My guess is $297.
If you have an installment plan, that would make it 3 payments of less than $100 each which would be affordable for most people just starting out.
June 25th, 2007 at 9:23 pm
$1995 should be the price, that way you can recover the cost of
going to the Rich Jerks Playboy Mansion Party See ya there going
to throw you in pool and video tape it and post to You Tube

but I’ll go with my original thought…
$397…BUT, $100 discount during first 72 hours,
AND $100 discount for TS1 customers.
June 26th, 2007 at 1:31 am
John,
I’d guess $347 although it’s probably worth 10 times that.
I’m going to buy it, no second thoughts.
TSv1.0 is simply blowing my mind. There’s no way I’m going to wait to buy TS2.0 at a later date. I’m buying it the day you put up the order page.
June 26th, 2007 at 2:01 am
Something different.
The price will be a magic number: 333. We’re going new ways!
Have a nice day.
June 26th, 2007 at 2:01 am
I would go with the average.. $297
June 26th, 2007 at 3:34 am
My guess is $1097.
June 26th, 2007 at 3:40 am
Whatever the cost it’ll be worth it. I’m new to all this but been following up on you, John, and am impressed. You’ve got another fan. Just give us as much free stuff as you can.

Hmmm… I’d say 397 bucks . hehe , after reading all those comments !

Hi John,
Please add me to your list so I can let my list of contacts know when TS 2.0 comes out,
) I would be doing everything possible to allow for more of the international community to get involved without devaluing the

My guess is $366. 2008 is leap year, so why wouldn’t you like your customers to
make a Quantum leap in their traffic with your cutting-edge information?
All the best with the launch…
June 26th, 2007 at 9:32 am
$247
There is already the black book web 2.0 by Jack H. that covered so much information, I wondering what new
information can John put on this new program to make it unique and useful? waiting with
interest…..

Hi John,
Blessed are those that give more than they receive.
But you have a justifiable reputation to keep.
It will be $397.
Ken
June 26th, 2007 at 11:17 am
US$297 or US$397
There’ll might be an upsell for some membership site.
June 26th, 2007 at 11:45 am
My official guess is….
Free for a select group of individuals based on certain fair criteria.
And if it’s not, consider this
Ozzy Osbourne…with fans across the Globe, hosts Ozfest…The Mecca for rockers and metal heads. The past concert tickets went as high as 1000 bucks a pop. This year, as per the desicions of his wife Sharon…Ozfest will be 100% FREE for all fans who attend the show! Same music, same quality entertainment you get at the very best rock concerts
June 26th, 2007 at 11:49 am
wow, the average from this page is $377 - lol
i think it’s gonna be likely what ends up eventually, because the law of averages proved it right - or wrong ? what do you say john ?

June 26th, 2007 at 11:56 am
I gotta go with $297…although that would be a steal at that price. I didn’t get the first version, but I have followed your teachings like a hawk for the past year…so count me in when it is launched!
June 26th, 2007 at 1:46 pm
Hello John,
$277 will be the official price, but as a charter Reese Report subscriber, I’m guessing that it won’t be hard for most people to get it at a lower price.
Thanks for what you are doing!
Best regards,
Tom
June 26th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
I like what Tish said, “Why not adopt dual pricing… one for loyal customers and one for new customers”, and I think I might just use that in my next marketing campaign. Thanks
As for my guesstimation:
I would recommend pricing it at $397 as I’ve done extensive price testing for two years with a physical product and found that there is a sweet spot between $297 to $497, but the conversion is either the same or better at $397 over $297 because it has a higher perceived value and just about anyone can squeeze $500 on a credit card.
That’s my own testing experience. The other side of the coin to consider besides conversion is refunds, I’ve found that depending on your refund policy (30, 60, 90 or 1 year) you will see more returns at a higher price the shorter your return policy.
Either way I would rather not pay the shipping and I’ll just fly down and visit you John, I’m itching to see your new sounds / recording studio. LOL
-Segovia
PS. Andy, go heckle elsewhere, and good luck!
June 26th, 2007 at 3:40 pm

$347.00 USD is my guess.
Thanks!
June 26th, 2007 at 5:03 pm
$697
June 26th, 2007 at 6:11 pm
My guess is $297 (with hopefully NO one time offer sales pitches!)
June 26th, 2007 at 6:20 pm
$697 - About $400 more than I can spend on it. At least I can watch these nice free 60 second videos!
June 26th, 2007 at 6:44 pm
Hey John,
Traffic Secrets 2.0 Is going to be sold for 377
June 26th, 2007 at 9:07 pm
Okay, here’s my prediction (for whatever it’s worth):
This launch will end the reign of the 7. That’s right, you heard it here first, folks. Old lucky 7 has been serving us all well for quite some time. She’s been a trusty workhorse, old 7 has. But Dear Lucky 7’s time has come - and she must be trotted off to pasture, to live out her days as a reminder of those salad days when we all got rich and the picking was easy.
Yes, a new era is upon us - call it “Web Pricing 2.0″ if you’d like.
Why? Because we’re all just too USED to it already! Why did 9 become 7? Because 9 became so obvious! “It’s not $499,” we realized. “It’s 500 bucks! Get over it!”
And now, if you’re anything like me, $497… it’s just… 500 bucks, all over again!
Which is why things are about to change…
So, my prediction? Here it is: The new number will be… not 9 (so 1970s!), not 7 (so 2005!), but… (the crowd falls silent!)
4.
Yes, the new number is 4.
Now, you might think these are the musings of some lunatic with nothing better to do than sit around and write silly comments on blog posts. And you know what? You might be right. Then again…
The Revolution is starting, people, and I’m joining!
Four. Yes, its angularity, its proud, upright stature! Its busty, almost haughty command of the line! Look: 4 - god, she’s beautiful, ain’t she?
You laugh now, but come Fall, you’ll all be on board - mark my words, looney though they may be!
And as for the price of TS2? I’m gonna say, um, well, let’s see… uhhh….
$384.
Much love to you, John! Looking forward to getting on board with TS2.
And Peace to all of you who made it through this little rant I concocted. It was fun for ME, anyway!
June 26th, 2007 at 10:22 pm

$377
June 27th, 2007 at 12:35 am
I guess $0
June 27th, 2007 at 1:51 am
Hi John,
I’m finding the coincidences between the impending launch of Income.com and/or TS2 funny to me with everyone over analyzing everything.
Of course…you’re John Reese–I sometimes wonder how you are able to travel in public, but then remember that marketers are people not celebrities.
My guess on the price along with everyone else’s is probably wrong, but if I thought I knew how you would do it the price is less than $400 and TS1 owners get it free as I recall (correction may be needed). You wouldn’t charge new customers more than the blow out price, and then there is the insane value of everything I’ve learned from you.
It’s $377 folks–you heard it here first. Discounts and bonuses are a given, but hey depending on one’s total business model the stuff could be put into the 5k range and people would eat it alive.
Why? Because John is the only marketer I know of that battlefield tests everything and it’s also the reason I *only* listen to him about business–oh and a select few more such as Jay Abraham.
I guess it was a smart move of me to have a “rebirth” of me this summer. What I was doing was only marginally successful because I had to learn that lesson, so no harm in pushing the limits with something new.
You inspire many John…including me I hope some day to have the success and following that you do.
It doesn’t matter what the price is in the end, because you always know that free or paid using and applying the things John teaches can change your business.
Targeted traffic is what makes the online component of a business grow…can you put a price tag on that unless you’re Google Adwords)?
Ok, one more thing and then I’m leaving it to the rest of you because I got up too early this morning.
If I lost everything this year in more ways than one and $377 is a stretch for me, I’m still buying. You all need to stay at the top of the game–cost is irrelevant if you make it back in profits.
I’m drooling just to see what income.com will be as an experience…hmm…the clue to “authority”.
Ok I took up too much real estate with this sermon already.
Bottom line–when the ball drops…
1. Click the link when it’s time
2. Order it
3. USE it
4. Profit and build value. Repeat step 4
It isn’t even a decision if you know what you’re getting in value.
Peace,
Jason
June 27th, 2007 at 2:54 am
Here’s an off the wall, semi-educated guess - $549. No reason, just sounded right.
Or maybe $777 in keeping with the new favorite launch date everybody seems to be
using.
Thanks for letting us guess,
Hale
June 27th, 2007 at 3:05 am
Oops - methinks I spoketh too soon. Not having read all the comments, I missed some
obvious clues. So I agree with Russ above, new price is $347.
June 27th, 2007 at 4:01 am
Great feedback and guesses, everyone! I got a laugh out of some of them.
Jason - a sincere ‘thanks’ for the kind words. I really appreciate them. So THANK YOU!
* I especially enjoyed David’s “end of the reign of the 7s!” hehehe great stuff. And, actually, David, I already ‘bucked’ that trend in the IM market when I released my Reese Report CD/newsletter for $95.00.
June 27th, 2007 at 6:34 am
As an owner of 1.0 I am sure looking foward to getting my hands on 2.0
That said I am thinking a price of 495 USD (plus shipping…) For those of us in the UK the high dollar at the moment makes this a steal Ho Ho.

# UPDATE #
Missed the “under 400 USD” hint…. so I’ll make it 395 USD
June 28th, 2007 at 8:10 am
I am fairly new to this whole game, and just bought Traffic Secrets a few weeks ago. I haven’t even gotten through it yet.
My guess is that this will be $313. Because that is a totally random educated guess.
June 29th, 2007 at 5:53 am
I say $499.00 and you’ll sell at least 10 times more than version 1.
You will easily gross over $5 mil.
How do I become an affiliate?
June 29th, 2007 at 10:09 am
The course will be free. Shipping and handling will be $347.
June 29th, 2007 at 2:01 pm
I agree with Jose and want affiliate-joining info!
June 29th, 2007 at 8:37 pm
Hi John,
I got TS1 during the sales and it was a great bargain.
Well though the information are about 2 years old BUT
the fundamental still remains which is what the is taught
it it.
And do you know why I got it? In one of your email you
wrote something about TS2 (can’t remember clearly) that’s
is going to be launch soon and you are going to market
it at a price much lesser than TS1 and giving some discount
to those that bought TS1 (correct me if Im wrong)… That’s
how i bought it, I guess!
My Price Guess for TS2 ===> ***USD397*** If you can
change USD to SGD…. haha kidding!.
Talk to you soon.

John,
I’m guessing $385 or $395
Stanley
July 1st, 2007 at 3:34 am
I think it will be sold for $397.
July 1st, 2007 at 6:44 pm
John,
I am going to guess $377.00…I don’t think your going to be bucking trends from the pricing standpoint.
But with the course itself…as with everything you produce…
Income.com will buck trends. It will prove your overall point once and for all (in my opinion).
On the internet, give excellent content first…and make people “drool” to grab your high - level paid stuff.

This is not a guess John, I would like to see it at $88. So we can get away from the 7
and the 9 for once. Andre
July 2nd, 2007 at 9:28 pm
Hi John,
I picked up TS 1.0 during the blowout sale. I have not had the time yet to go through it completely but it really looks top notch. I was reluctant to get it at $997 though …
I am thinking that John probably got a good feel for the “price vs demand” graph by offering the product at 2 price points.
My guess on TS 2.0:
The price will be a three digit number.
I already know the last digit of the price - it will be “7″
The first digit will be between 3 and 9
I would say that the street price for new owners will be 577

I guess alot of folks will guess the correct price so if
you win do you really win? Mark Joyner had too many
posts he liked to be able to give away his new product
“7 days” so he ended up giving a 7 day free preview to
everyone. My guess is 399.

Hi John!
I’m guessing $367.00 which would be a steal for sure!
I was wondering if there will be information in your Traffic Secrets 2.0 that you won’t be
eventually sharing with your Income.com monthly paid subscribers?
Also, do you have a scheduled launch date for Income.com?
Thanks for all that you do John.

How Much $ for TS2? whatever you want, we’re buying it anyways
John,
$20 Million from implementing TS1? Thats allot of profit for a person to realize. And you know what they say “where there is one, there is usually more.”
I am sure us “Reese Rats” (we are the people who have your products and hang out in your income.com lab, working to find the shortest way out of this internet maze to success) would find it interesting and educational on how it was done.
If this person can share how they implemented your course and what they found most helpful, (the actual site would not even have to be revealed) this would be a success story that people would want to hear about-everybody loves a good story.
I don’t know if any of us will reach the $20M mark, but we could learn how they processed and acted on the infomation in TS1. I think that this is real testament to your knowledge/product, the site never would of sold for that much money if continued traffic was not expected to keep the site profitable.

Well, according the video of following Internet trends…

I’m guessing the TS 2.0 price will be $377.
September 4th, 2007 at 2:11 pm
I definitely think it will be $377 because that is what the blow out of ts1.0 was priced at.
September 6th, 2007 at 2:33 pm
My guess is $347.
September 20th, 2007 at 7:38 am
Hi John,
My prediction is $697 becasue the 12 CD’s and workbook would cost about $50 to produce and when you include a nice affiliate bonus of $300 then you have $347 remaining.
Personally speaking, at $697 the Traffic Secrets 2.0 would “FLY” off the shelf…

TS2 will cost… between 400 & 100 US dollars :o)
How about 247?
April 14th, 2008 at 9:22 am
Its a big launch, it has to be $997 or $1497, expensive yet people will still buy it.
Alfred
April 27th, 2008 at 10:48 am
I guess the price to be aprox $479 hehe.
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:40 am
I think it’s about USD297
May 7th, 2008 at 7:09 am
It’s crazy that 95% of what was in TS 1.0 still works - even with all the constant changes we face in marketing.
With this in mind, $395 seems like what John would charge for TS 2.0.
This would price it under $400 and not include a 7. At this price he doesn’t need to offer bonuses (then again he wouldn’t have to offer then at $1000 either.)
Under $100 is wishful thinking.
If it were under $200 people would wonder if they were getting the full product or think John has lost it.
Under $300 is affordable to most yet is this high enough to motivate people to actually use his product after spending money to buy it. Let’s say it cost him $40 per product (which includes making it, packaging and administrative costs.) His marketing costs are down so he’ll end up making $150 - $180 per unit sold. Is this enough? Maybe if he makes it up in volume but does that saturate the market making the ideas not as effective?
I’ll stick with $395.
May 7th, 2008 at 1:58 pm
I’m voting for $397.
May 8th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
$199 I’m guessing:)
May 13th, 2008 at 4:23 am
I think any price ending in $*97 is overdone. I would suggest a price of $378.00 as it looks as though some though has been put into making the price as low as possible.
Personally I would be looking at a price structure on the lines of $243 to grow your customer base exponentially. However the mix of percieved low availability, high price does work well. Maybe it’s time to break this mould and rely on volume and repeat sales as you open up your product range to new customers?
June 17th, 2008 at 1:01 pm
Guys for those putting numbers over the $400 range obviously dont read…. John himself said earlier up here that it will be under $400 and gave his reasons why. He gave smart reasons why.
I think John will sell it for something like $234 just to shock people. I bet he is looking at a price that can “test” a new price… He knows it will already sell. Just testing a price is another game to him! Anyways, looking forward to July 3rd release. BTW why one day before July4? Kinda interesting with people being gone… I bet you are thinking people will stop and do anything to get this…. I will!

Im going to guess $50.00, anything more than that would be really high for traffic tips. I mean if it was a complete system to I would guess higher, but “just” for traffic tips I will say 50 bucks. The free vids i have seen so far are really basic, and if thats a sample of the stuff in the product, i might lower my guess to 20 bucks.

I’m going to go with $197.

Hi John, if I have to guess, I am very very confident that you will sell this course at a grand price od $597. This would be the price so many people can afford it and also to limit this only to the people who can afford it so that not too many people have access to these amazing tactics you will be revealing.
This is how IM works, you get what you pay for and because of who you are online I couldnt see you going less than that.

I sincerely hope it is priced to suit everyone and $297 would be great. I dont think it is warranted all these rediculous high prices that are charged by the so called gurus……….I’m sure you will make more than enough. Cheers!

Hi
I am guessing around $397 my theory for this is 297 is what everyone is expecting therefore this would make it average and expected, it was originally on sale for 997 and half price would make it 497ish but I have a theory that you would like to make this version less than half the original price (great marketing) so therefore my guess is $397 just a guess but I could be way off.
