Hey John,
What a coincidence. I was just writing a report about this. There’s also Google’s “Zeitgeist” which basically is similar to “Trends”. Trends is more sophisticated and a lot more detailed than Zeitgeist.

Thank you to remind us John. I use Google Trend sometimes, and I am going to use it right now for my new product.

I also find it helpful to have a keyword report that fully covers what people are searching for within your industry.
When you discover highly competitive keyword phrases, niches that aren’t being served and other target markets that interest you, it is always helpful to look at the time dimension.

I knew there was an increase in interest in real estate since all the flip this/that shows
started. Google Trends proves it!
This is exciting news since I’m about to launch another comprehansive membership site for real estate investors. It will have real estate lessons, video, audio, online community, etc.
I need to learn more about how to attract attention to this new site.
Seven years ago, I was the first person to create a comprehensive and fully integrated
marketing system for real estate investors. Each office has an exclusive and they pay
a monthly license fee. Now, 100+ offices later, this business is still growing strong.
Darn, I’ve got 4 real estate courses that I’m not even marketing right now. I need to
get them OUT THERE. ( timing is everything)
Just too much to do….
Thanks for the info John, you made my day!

Hi John
Thanks for reminding me about google trends I have used it in the past and will use it again. Here is an affiliate link to watch a great video on it http://freeiq.com/googletrends , if people would rather not click on an affiliate link and help a fellow marketer, here is another link freeiq.com and do a search for google trends.

It’s good to see you around, John, especially blogging, and particularly often.
It seems that people are greatly underestimating what a powerful tool Google Trends is, especially Google Hot Trends. I did a ten minute video on it recently, and it’s amazing just how much knowing what was hot yesterday helps you target today’s content. And with the regular trend tool, you can guesstimate what wll be hot tomorrow - it’s like being able to look a little into the future, like that movie, Next.
I know many people who have seen this and said “so what”. Please tell them what a mistake this is.

Yes Google Trends is really great free tool.
When hunting for new market or niche….
I use this tool as an important step to see the
consistency in the market demand.
You can even see in which geographical areas the Market demand is high.
—–
You know John,
once I was researching a Niche, which has huge demand (Overture told me this!)
with least supply (Google was telling me this!).
I was excited to start a VRE on that Niche. But you know I love to grab the
main keywords or complete phrase in the domain name and .COM only LOL.
But .COM was grabbed already by some guy. What about .net, .org…..
I was just thinking…..you know actually guessing LOL
But Google Trends made me RICH LOL. I just searched using it and
WOW, whole market was present in UK!
so without any doubt i just got .co.uk domain name and To this date
is ranked #1 for the main phrase, and is
my that VRE (secret
at the top in the niche with free search engine Traffic from UK (the actual market!)
The objective to share this story is that Google Trends can really help
to make the informed decisions.
Have a great day,
Mohsin

It’s a pain in everyone else’s butt. Let’s just stop discussing this crap, the topic is too questionable.
