Sorry for the delay… Here’s the first video for you. This is an excerpt from a keynote presentation I gave in February of this year at the StomperNet Live conference that was held in Orlando, Florida. There were about 600 people in attendance. You can’t see the full crowd in the video. The video quality (due to bad lighting in the ballroom) isn’t the greatest and the guy running the live ’switch’ between the cameras and powerpoint shot seemed to fall asleep at times (long duration of just the powerpoint still) but it’s at least watchable. Make sure to watch it until the end for the surprise conclusion! * As always please post your comments and also post and let us know how the video-playing experience is as well. We’re testing some new servers and I am interested in knowing if it downloads quickly. Thanks! Get the Flash Player to see this player. |

Oog, video didn’t work well for me at all, it would play for a few seconds and then stall, and then play again. I use hughesnet though and that could be a factor. Whenever I look at youtube videos they work fine, but for some reason this is playing before it has been downloaded so it stalls.

Nice one, John.
Just before seeing this, I was listening to Dr.Dennis Waitley present at Mark Victor Hansen’s ‘Mega Book Marketing’ - and this stuck in my mind:
“Always be underpaid for what you do. Because if you give more
in used value than you get in cash value, you’ll be sought after.”
Seems like you both are talking the same language

Hi John,
Napoleon Hill said that we can have any amount of money we desire but we must take the following pledge
“I will give the most efficient service of which I am capable, rendering the fullest possible quantity, and the best possible quality of serviceâ€
I believe you’ve improved that pledge. By adding… “And I will always do MORE then is expected.”
In fact, if it’s ok with you, I’m rewording that pledge in my software so future users will benefit.
Thanks for the awesome example,

Great talk ’cause you personalized it with real life experiences. And your touch of humor works well. I think humor makes learning more entertaining, but not everyone can do it. I’ve been a $1 Stomper trial member and it’s easy to get so caught up in learning, absorbing and not doing when so much great information is on tap.

Hi john
Great video
Firstly there is no such thing as LAZY
Mr. Bush over delivered and his
the biggest moron on the planet.
Why do we need to over deliver?
Because 95% of the stuff out there is Crap.
It would be much better if we could
FOCUS on, and make more off the
5% GOOD STUFF. In other words
Imagine if it was the other way
around we would only have to
work two hours and have a great
life, isnt that the GOAL?

I think the part about doing more than expected is cool and true, however I do not believe that people are going out and making $6,000 a mo. in just a few months. That is TOTAL CRAP. If there are, they are fery few and very lucky.
I have been running (very very dilligently I might add) a website for 5 years now plus I have another website and I have put a MASSIVE amount of time and effort into my sites with very little success. I have read loads of courses and implemented every thing I have learned over the past couple of years. As a matter of fact, I work a full time job and I would stay up until 2:00 am to work on this stuff. Very, very little success.
Honestly, I am one person that has tried for a half of a decade to do Internet marketing diligently.
Now, I am not telling you to not pursue this Internet marketing opportunity. Hey, I haven’t given up. I never give up. However, whenever I hear anyone talking about quick success like this, I get a little angry and passionate. If you go into any business with the mindset that Ohhh, I’m gonna make $6,000 a month because I go way beyond what others are willing to do, well, all I can say is B.S. (please excuse my vernacular)
Oh, one other thing that irritates me to no end is this, (and then I’ll shut up) all of the Internet Marketing Gurus tell you not to go into Internet Marketing as a business. Now, let me ask you this: What business are they in? And no sooner after they sell you or convince you to do something they start backending loads of other products at you.
Listen, It’s like a famous business person always states on his radio show:
If the deal is too good to be true….It probably is.
God Bless Mr. Reese,he seems to be a nice man and I am a very upbeat and positive person usually, but let’s be realistic here please.

The video worked great.
The message was awesome!
We can’t hear it enough.
June 5th, 2007 at 7:11 am
Video was one of the fastest loads for me yet! No problems loading it and playing it.
Great content, good to hear the example with programming. As a web developer (mainly PHP programming), I come across a few people that go above and beyond, paying above and beyond what was asked for. I can tell you that those people have probably received more of my time free of charge for that little bonus, than they would have paid me for the time in the first place.
It can really pay to go above and beyond. Another great tip when dealing with small one-man shops for web development, is when the job looks like its almost done. Send them a quick line asking what else is outstanding in the project, and to send you an invoice as soon as possible. It not only helps keep things moving, but ease’s the contractor’s stress about asking for payment and being paid promptly. Of course, paying promptly after asking for the invoice is the other half of the deal
One of the people I do some work for treated me extra well, so when he had a rush project that was due asap. I had no second thoughts working through the night to have it on his desk for 4am the next morning. Much to his surprise, and many further jobs for me.
Above and beyond.. works both ways

John, you’ve proved once again why you are the marketer that you are. Ever since I bought your marketing course I’ve found that you live up to your word and over-deliver with your services and products. I wish that others approached life and business the way that you do. What a great example you set.
My day job is with the US Gov’t. They should teach their managers to view others as you do. I’m looking forward to see what you do with income.com. I think that you are going to rock the marketing world with your information and your example to others.

June 5th, 2007 at 7:55 am
Dear John: Your pappy is a brilliant man - and so are you for following this “rule”. For all those out there who do not feel they have the pesos to pay more than you are required, there are other little ways to go the distance. Just loud and frequent appreciation and sincere praise (and not just to the individual, but to everyone around) is powerful. And doesn’t break the bank. I’m sure all you creative (but right now not wealthy) folks out there can come up with many other ways to put this rule into action.
P.S. The video worked perfectly.
June 5th, 2007 at 8:22 am
Hi John,
I should have been on your newsletter a long time ago. Was a great video, and although I’m sure you didn’t mean to put then down with their cheap trophy award by giving away your BMW, you made your point. The guy Britt deserved a lot more than a lousy trophy. I’m a father on welfare and have been at this for about 2 years and hardly made a net profit of $500. I just can’t afford all these courses by whoever gives them, whether it be Andy or Brad, or anybody else. I’m punching at through trial and error. Very frustrating.
Thanks for great stuff…

John,
I wanted to say how much you hit home with “doing what is more than expected of you”. It is true what you say that in this day and age many people do just enough to get by and then wonder why they are not succeeding.
In my current business constructing fiber optic networks, which I’m trying to leave behind, I have seen many many business taking short cuts and really never rising above expectations and soon these business seize to exists.
I have recently become new member to Stompernet. The reasons I did this was simply in my mind, to align myself with like minded individuals that go beyond just getting buy and move to outperform all expectations. I have always used the philosophy in my business of giving 110% and it has been very rewarding.
Thanks for sharing the video. Great advice!

Hi John,
I have always been a great admirer of your hard work as a entrepreneur. Don’t ask me why, but, I have always trusted your judgment to the point of, “I know what ever John says and sells is authentic, true and it will work”. But only if you put it into action.
I am a musician blah, blah, blah and so on from Chennai,India. My website will be up and running shortly by July 2007. I have produced my own album right from the start to the finish and I have done it my way from my experience and failures.
My dream is to be a trillionaire and I will be one, not just for myself, but for the people who need my help all over the world. I love business, any kind of business. I have learn’t a great from your free reports, etc. I am also applying some of the techniques that you have taught in my marketing and website. I haven’t bought anything from you but I do intend to meet you someday when I get to the USA.
I too always believed that you should do your best and if your talented, you will always end up doing more than what has been expected of you.
The example you gave at the stompernet event of the piano in a bar.LOL
I do that whenever I go to a bar. Your absolutely right about that one. And what you did at the event by giving the car away to someone who may not have deserved it? You have planted a seed for a new generation of winners. And what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you said pastor (Mike Murdoch).
It was great talking to you John and yes, fundamentals are the foundation to a successful life not only in finance, but also in character and principle.
You are chosen, for you have used your talent and multiplied it wisely.
Thankx a Trillion,
Best Regards,
Sajjid Manuel

Fantastic, A man who walks the talk. Rare today. You should have had a 10 minute standing ovation and a huge hug by the winner. The video quality came across very good and I even got a tip on where to go for the Flash work that I need done right now.
Thanks, John

Wow! It’s a wonderful thing to see by example what real winners like John do. This seemingly will have a positive trickle down effect that should be a blessed thing in this industy.
The award winners reaction was priceless . . . thanks to John.

Dr. Mike is funny John. Hahaha. Music sounds cool. Anyways, the video loaded very fast.
It was very generous of you to give away your new car to the fellow who took the most action. I think your messages are quite clear. TAKE ACTION! We all need to light a fire under are butts and get going already. What are we waiting for right? I think *I* and others need to tattoo this on our brains. Talk is cheap, action speaks louder then words. Or in our case (most people including me) studying and learning and doing nothing with it is worthless.
And I agree with Kim, I think God will bless you even more, and it will be far greater then receiving more money.
God Bless and can’t wait for the next video.
Lisa
P.S. How is project code name “BR†going? You know we are going to keep bothering you about it so that you can stay motivated. And I mean bothering in a good way. Peace out!

the new servers are working great, the download came through fast and smoothless even via satellite connection.
Absolutely love that intro, I just started adding intro and outro’s to my podcast and it definitely makes it more memorable and seeing your video is already having my mind buzzing with the branding possibilities that offers on top of everything.

Kudos to you!

Hey, John…
Neat little video! It strikes a chord, to be sure. I try to always give far more than expected, but not so much for the benefits I’ll get down the line but more for the immediate joy I get from the happiness it generates.
By the way…
I have no idea what you plan to do here (income.com) but seriously… this is a pretty boring design for such a “sparkly” guy. I’m a wizard when it comes to designing a really good looking site, so if you need a hand, let me know. I’d be happy to help you out here just for the joy of working with you.

After getting over the chock of seeing myself on stage, I finally got up the nerve to thank you, once again, for the reminder to do more than what people expect of me. I can honestly say that I worked extremely hard to be on stage; it’s not a matter of comparing “who worked the hardest”, but who did the things that worked best. Oftentimes, it’s not about working harder, but working more effectively. My “fast track” website now has a PR 3 anyway. I expect it to go to a 6 in the next few months.
The video worked fine, but paused a few times to load, but that could be due to my own connection. I’m located in Sweden.
Thanks again, next time it’ll be me.

John,
First and foremost I have to say I totally agree with you about your first rule.
I’ve seen first hand how that’s helped my business grow and more importantly how people really appreciate that. Just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and then the benefits that are brought in because of it is just a cherry on top.
Look forward to more videos and more importantly the latest version of traffic secrets.
Keep it up!

Hi John, video didnt download quickly. it kept refreshing on me. I do have a 1.5M DSL connection. But i can attest t the gret info you passed along since i was live at that event.
and i agree with you John on its easier to make money now that years passed b/c of the lessons learned and now taught by guys like yourself and the stomper group. but it does come down to hard work, thats the missing ingredient in most peoples lives. People tell me how “lucky” I am bc i can take off a morning if i choose to do but what they dont see is all the nights, weekend and holidays i spent working night and day. then i ask, you can have the same opportunity..are you willing to pay the price? i think you know the answer.
God bless,
Chris

I agree with John. I believe that he works hard to help people learn how to help other people. All his products are great. I know I have read most of them. How rude of you Brian to attack him like this. Did you know that at the last Stompernet Seminar he gave away a BMW that the Stompernet guys had just given him, to a guy that was there to learn a better way of life. If you don’t want to work like this, then don’t, but don’t attack the ones that do.

I came across your site through Fitnessprofessionals.com because I like their style and I like their products. As a teacher and a coach, I need to leverage my time and my expertise in fitness training but had no idea how I could get rolling in this market. (I have no experience or expertise in internet marketing!) I watched all 5 of John Reese’s videos and feel very comfortable with his character and his expertise.
